Dirty Projectors have released their first album following the romantic and musical separation of bandmates David Longstreth and Amber Coffman. Not to get all TMZ on you, but Longstreth decided to continue with the Dirty Projectors and is rather upfront about this being a breakup record. There's a new retrospective of Pink Floyd’s early years out now. It covers the years between 1965 and 1972, clocks in at over 27 hours and features live performances, re-mastered versions of their studio albums, BBC radio sessions and other odds and ends. The timeframe of it stops just short of Pink Floyd’s 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon, which is arguably the tipping point for the band becoming a classic rock mainstay.
